AFF Stage 2 JumpAFF Stage 2 & TAF Stage 2

All of your jumps after Stage 1 involve a short briefing of about 15 to 30 minutes.

Stage 2 teaches you how to fly forward through the sky in a 'delta' body position. Your two instructors continue to hold you and fly with you the whole way.

You will feel your body accelerate through the air as you stretch out your legs and move your arms back, allowing the air to push you forward - it is an awesome feeling.

AFF Stage 3

Learn how to make controlled turns in freefall, and hover on a column of air. When you are ready, one of your jumpmasters will let you go and fly in front of you.

When you are ready to deploy your parachute, the second Instructor will release their grips on you for a solo ripcord pull!

AFF Stage 4 JumpAFF Stage 4

You will never forget this one! Consolidate your skills learned on stage 3 and jump out at 14,000 feet with one jumpmaster.

Once you have demonstrated your stability at the beginning of the jump, your instructor will release their grips on you to come around and fly in front of you.

Practice your turning, hovering and heading skills during freefall, and deploy solo at 3,500 feet and head for the landing area.

AFF Stage 5 JumpAFF Stage 5

By Stage 5 you should have demonstrated the ability to remain in a stable body position and you may like to try a solo exit from the plane.

On Stages 5 and 6, you will learn how to turn your body 360 degrees, fly forwards towards your Freefall Instructor, and practice 'docking' techniques. Pull your ripcord at 3,500 feet for an unassisted landing back at the Drop Zone.

AFF Stage 6 JumpAFF Stage 6

On Stages 5 and 6, you will learn how to turn your body 360 degrees, fly forwards towards your Freefall Instructor, and practice 'docking' techniques. Pull your ripcord at 3,500 feet for an unassisted landing back at the Drop Zone.

Stage 6 is a consolidation jump and this time you get to jump out of the plane solo, with your Freefall Instructor close behind you.

AFF Stage 7 JumpAFF Stage 7

You will learn how to do backloops on Stage 7.

After a dive exit from the plane, your jumpmaster will demonstrate to you a backloop, whereby you will follow their lead and have a blast doing your own freefall backloop. Initiate your turn and make a high-speed track away from your jumpmaster.

AFF Stage 8 JumpAFF Stage 8

Consolidate all of your learning from Stages 1 to 7 by exiting the plane from 14, 000 feet for a sub terminal 180-degree turn to face your Jumpmaster.

Discover how to control your fast and slow fall by following your Jumpmaster, and track (high speed forward movement) with intentional turns.

AFF Stage 9 JumpAFF Stage 9

Your last stage in the Accelerated Freefall Body Flight Program involves exiting the plane from 3,500 feet.

Enjoy your solo freefall, totally in control and fully skilled!

A Licence

Once you have successfully completed your 9 Stages of the AFF Body Flight Program, you are able to work towards receiving your A Licence from the Australian Parachute Federation.
